The Executive Assistant to the CEO will provide high-level executive, administrative, and operational support to the CEO of Invictus Games Birmingham 2027, playing a vital role in enabling effective leadership across the organisation.
This is a trusted, hands-on role requiring exceptional organisation, discretion, and judgement. The postholder will manage the CEO’s complex diary and travel arrangements, act as a first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, and ensure the CEO is fully briefed through the preparation and coordination of papers and information from across the team.
Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, the Executive Assistant will coordinate cross-programme meetings, prepare agendas, collate papers, record actions, and support the delivery of specific projects and cross-cutting initiatives. The role will also ensure that corporate documentation received by the CEO’s office is appropriately recorded, stored, and managed.
The Executive Assistant will work alongside the Office and Governance Manager, who supports the wider executive leadership team and governance boards and sub-committees.
This role offers flexible, hybrid working conditions with a minimum requirement of one day per week in the London office.
This is a full-time, fixed-term role to October 2027, and we are seeking a candidate who can start promptly following appointment.

The Office Manager and Governance Support will play a central role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of Invictus UK 2027, providing high-quality administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team and effective governance support to the Board of Trustees.
This is a varied, hands-on role combining office management, general administration, project support, and board secretariat responsibilities. The postholder will act as a key point of contact for the organisation, supporting internal teams and external stakeholders, coordinating meetings and travel, managing office systems and suppliers, and ensuring that core administrative processes operate efficiently.
Working closely with senior leaders and trustees, the role will plan and coordinate Board and sub-committee meetings, draft agendas, prepare and collate papers, take accurate minutes, and provide logistical and administrative support to support effective governance and decision-making.
As part of a small and collaborative organisation, the Office Manager and Governance Support will take a flexible and proactive approach, contributing to ad hoc tasks and special projects as required to support the wider operation of the organisation.
This role offers flexible, hybrid working conditions with a minimum requirement of one day per week in the office, and attendance at in-person Board and sub-committee meetings in London or Birmingham as required.
